We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer and doula experience with Kendyl. From the very beginning she has been so supportive, caring and genuinely goes above and beyond. As first time parents, especially me as a first time mum, having someone so reassuring and kind throughout the whole process meant so much to us. Her work is absolutely beautiful and the photos make me emotional every time I look at them. She captured such special moments so perfectly and naturally. Kendyl also made us both feel completely comfortable and at ease in front of the camera, which was something we were nervous about beforehand. We were initially unsure about hiring a birth photographer but decided that it was important to us to have the most special day of our lives documented by a professional. After looking around, we hired Kendyl as our birth photographer for the birth of our first child, and she truly went above and beyond. From our very first interaction she made it a priority to help us feel comfortable and safe. She respected all our wishes and learned what we most loved about birth photography in order to capture what was most important to us and in the most beautiful way. On the day she was like a fly on the wall, she was never in the way, always in the background and yet her calm and friendly presence made it feel as though she was part of the birth support team. Although none of the photographs were posed, they look so beautiful and dreamy, some focusing on the tiniest of details and others zooming out to encapsulate the big picture.
