Hilary is outstanding in newborn photography. We wanted some special images taken of our newborn and found Hilary via social media online. Booking was easy & straight forward, all our questions and concerns had been addressed prior the shoot via phone. The appointment was confirmed via email with some great instructions attached to prepare for our shoot. Upon arrival we have been warmly greeted and felt welcome. Within the studio is a separate room were we could relax, feed and change our little one during the shoot. Hilary has not only the knowledge of her photography gear but I kind of magic hand to calm and keep any baby in position, nothing is rushed. Once ready, we have been invited back to view the images, which have been beautifully prepared in a video slideshow. You can then make your photo selection, print size and material or just digital presented on a beautiful usb drive.

Hilary is the best!! We are so grateful to met her. She is very patient, very professional, and she knows the best angle to take picture for babies with all the matching cute outfit. Me and my husband can't thank her enough for all the great pictures that she's been taken for our little angel. We are definitely will return when we have our second child.

After answering a model call out from Hillary’s Facebook page I was extremely excited to have been picked for the shoot. And the shoot did not disappoint. Hillary was absolutely amazing with my baby and the photo shoot was extremely professional. My dad purchased a photoshoot for 1x photo for our daughter through Hilary’s husband at the Royal show (it was a great price). We found most of the props supplied very cute, but were better suited to newborn sized baby (our baby was around 9-months old so didn’t really fit in any of them). I was a little uncomfortable with the waiver I was asked to sign, giving Hilary full license to chop, slice, change and use the photos of our little one however she wanted (this might be normal in the business but still made me uneasy). Although we didn’t get many smiles from our little one on the day, we were looking forward to seeing the photos at the next appointment. My husband, mum, dad and I all attended the appointment together, we were upfront and told Hilary and her husband that we would likely only take the one photo as I was on extended maternity leave so we were down to one income. We went through the photos (which were put together in a beautiful slide show with lovely music) and tried to figure out which picture we wanted, as we binned the ones we didn’t want Hilary made the comment “oh I didn’t realise you didn’t like them”, this made us feel pretty uncomfortable as that wasn’t the case. When I asked if one picture could be lightened a little to see her hair better we were told “I’ve already spent a whole day editing these”, the appointment became more uncomfortable. We asked how much for a second print, we were told $150, but then when the paperwork was done I think the incorrect size was written so we were told we were being given a discount (which is super nice but the way it was said was really off, in an angry tone). All and all the photos we got were lovely keepsakes, but we wouldn’t go back.
