We enquired Amy's services to celebrate our puppy's upcoming 1st birthday and we couldn't be more grateful. My partner and I were very nervous to have our crazy little 10-month old pup with us for the shoot but Amy was an angel the entire time. She was hilarious, patient and ever so gentle especially with him! The whole process went better than we imagined and our photos turned out so beautiful! Amy shot our civil wedding, and now this - she's become a special part of our lives and I cant imagine us ever working with anyone else. Amy Skinner is totally worth your investment. Amy is the most incredible wedding photographer! From the outset she was so personable and instantly understands you as a couple, and how to make you feel comfortable. She was always contactable throughout the lead up and made us so excited for our special day. A beautiful added touch was waking up to some sneak peek photos the morning after our wedding - how special is that! The quality of her photos and natural moments she captured was so special. Cannot recommend Amy highly enough!! We booked Amy back in 2018, however had to change our date twice due to covid. Amy was so understanding and accomodating about our date changes. Communication was fantastic leading up to the day, Amy has such good knowledge of the day and her honesty was greatly appreciated!! We felt so comfortable with Amy as soon as we met her! The day itself Amy was so organised and professional. We were so nervous about the photos on the day as werent sure if it would feel awkward, but Amy made us feel super comfortable and we had a hilarious time! The bridal party photos were one of our favourite parts of the day as we all had such a good time, everyone commented how good she was, she has a few tricks up her sleeve to get the perfect pictures! Our first look pictures arrived within 2 days and our USB pictures arrived within a few weeks and came beautifully presented! Amy was an absolute DELIGHT to work with. We fell in love with her work the minute we saw it, but we fell in love with what she does even more after getting to know her! Amy was the missing piece that we needed for our day. She was creative and led the direction on what to expect for the day - which we really appreciated as it just took off so much load from our shoulders from all the other planning that we did. She was firm BUT gentle and funny. (Gosh, she is hilarious!) She just knew how to direct family and relatives for those chaotic shots that you needed to get but she also does it in a gentle way that no one gets offended! However, most importantly, Amy felt like a friend that you needed on the most important day of your life. Someone that would be there to comfort you but to also make sure you guys look good (AND be honest about it!!). Which makes what she does even much more special. She even surprised us with sneak peaks right after the wedding which was so so special! Amy is so talented, and one that you will never regret to work with. Amy is AMAZING!! From the start of our whole wedding planning process Amy has been so helpful and has gone above and beyond what you would expect from your photographer. Not only are her photos to die for (Our celebrant wants to renew her vows just to have photos by Amy now!) She is amazingly organised, helped us make decisions, was easy to contact and communicate with and made us both feel very comfortable on the day. With Amy as our photographer it was like having our friend following us around and taking photos on the day. she was also super adaptable when we had to make last minute changes and nothing was going to stop her from being at our wedding. 120% recommend Amy, I cant wait for another occasion to come up for us to get more beautiful photos by her!!
